Spille
On November 14th. my son Sean’s wife Caitlin delivered my first grandson.
On November 6th. we took possession of a building on the main street of Spille as our new church. It is the first Christian church in the village.
This comes shortly after our first “Mediterranean Conference” where we enjoyed messages from our dear friend Pst. Tony Pallotta. Another precious first was that at this same conference three Albanian men from the church shared from the Word.
Our hope is that we will be able to begin a more focused discipleship program by way of Bible College classes. There are all ready a few people in Spille who are desiring this.
Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide for us our first van to make the trips to Spille easier.
Tirana
On January 17th. my son Dennis’ wife Sandy delivered my second grandson.
On January 15th. we took possession of a building for the Tirana church. This is our second rental because the first place had become too small. The new place is three times the size but the cost is not much more.
With this new location comes our second opportunity to begin again to evangelize an unreached area. We are praying for salvations, discipleship, and body life.
Our expectations are only from the Lord, but we can’t help being excited about what God will do this year as we watch the growth of these two boys and the growth of these two churches.

News
- Bible College is going well with 14 students this semester, 7 of whom are taking classes for the first time.
- For Christmas we borrowed a donkey, dressed up as Mary, Joseph, and shepherds and walked up and down the streets of Tirana, ending at the main park to give a Gospel presentation. Pictures are on facebook:

- The new building in Tirana is not short of a miracle. Needing a larger place, a Christian man approached us with a place. 109 sq.m. The former place was 34 sq.m. The price is $50.00 more per month.
- Basically the same with the building in Spille. The village is one main road. The place we are renting is right at its’ midpoint, a single free standing storefront that is all ours.
- Last year’s conference on the beach of the Adriatic was wonderful. We are hoping you will consider joining us this year. Dates: July 25 – 28.
- A young man named Vero came into the church this past year. At 18 years old he has the zeal David had at that age. He is taking Bible College classes, is at everything, is a gifted evangelist, and will be going to European conference this year. Please cover him in prayer.
Prayer Requests
- Salvations for family members as the body here prays and fasts for their loved ones.
- The process of raising up church leaders. God is doing a great work.
- A vehicle, preferably a van to facilitate our trips to Spille. There are many good used ones here for under 10,000 euro if you are interested in championing that cause.
- New church plants. Possibly in the city of Feir or Berat.
- All of the details involved with the new church buildings.
- Team members. Why not Albania?
I so often feel like Abraham’s servant. Before I am finished speaking in my heart for the needs of this precious body of believers and this wonderful country, God is all ready answering.
